Dr. L. Jack Cheng
M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Jack Cheng’s passion for his patients has driven him to merge his extensive training in cosmetic medicine with his enthusiasm for anti-aging therapies. “I believe this combined approach not only allows me to help my patients look good, but also feel great,” he says. As technology continues to advance, Dr. Cheng remains at the forefront, staying updated on the latest non-invasive cosmetic procedures. He believes that everyone possesses a natural beauty within and works hand-in-hand with each patient to bring that beauty to the surface.
As a cosmetic physician at LifeSpring Antiaging & Aesthetic Medicine and the Medical Director at Atlanta Medical Institute, Dr. Cheng strives to establish strong rapport with his patients, fostering lifelong relationships. “I want my patients to understand that the work is collaborative – that they have a much greater hand in it than I do,” he says. He encourages his patients to discuss in detail their aspirations and fully commit to the regimen and treatment plan to ensure their goals are met. “Using modern medical technologies, the patient can achieve great results,” he adds.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cheng enjoys golfing and traveling. He is currently co-founding the Aegean Clinic in China and Kuwait. Additionally, he volunteers his professional services to the American Cancer Society and AID Atlanta. “Cancer is a growing risk in our population, and everything must be done to fight it,” he says. His current project is the Yonkofa Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization led by a small team of Atlanta-based medical providers that facilitates the construction of permanent medical clinics in remote regions of the world.
While he admits it is cliché, Dr. Cheng says the most rewarding part of his job is when a patient is satisfied with the end result. He is indeed a friend to his patients.
